I am confused as Carbon Fiber does not come in colors, well except carbon. Kevlar is yellow.

Or is this simulated carbon fiber?

Looks like the above is a carbon/kevlar mix. I have some at the shop for use
on fabricating parts with more flexibility. Such as splitters on our race cars that hit curbing very frequently.

Flexibility in Carbon Fiber can be achieved with the weave, not adding kevlar.

There are different types of CF and weaves. There are uni-directional as well as multidirectional, etc.

Most of the CF I find in these types of applications, is NOT CF or is just one layer of overlay on top of an OEM part, which to me is useless.

I would prefer for the part to be CF all the way through, but the former allows for a lower price point and options.

I have just been trying to find out which vendors off which!

Thanks for answering my other question in the other thread.

Can you answer the above and let me know what the composition is on this stuff?

Thanks!

Wiat, I am confused and I probably confused you as well.

You never PM'd me about anything; I apologize.

With all of this CF stuff going on I got confused.

Can you answer my questions now?
