Local dealer horror story
You just gotta love the dealerships. My camaro developed a heater core leak. sprayed antifreeze out of the ac vent during hard right hand cornering. Took it to my local dealer(same place i bought my beloved bee). No problem sir, we'll get it fixed right up. A week later i get a call that it's gonna be a few more days. The windshield got broken. Have to wait for a new one. 3 days later i get another call. aftermarket windshield doesn't fit. have to order from the factory. it's gonna be 3 more weeks or so. a couple days later i drove by the dealership and saw my car sitting outside. WITH NO GLASS IN IT. Wind was blowing 35-40 mph. I stopped to look at my car. Full of dirt, grass, and everything else the wind blows around in north texas. look a little closer. floor mats covered with grease and grime. hole in the driver seat (looks like the mechanic sat in it with a tool in his back pocket. passenger kick panel with deep gouges in it. seat was replaced. floor mats replaced. carpets cleaned. windshield installed. kick panel replaced. a month later i get my car back. i get to keep it for a week. until they can get it into the body shop to repaint the door sills where they scratched it down to the metal on both the driver and passenger side. Oh well, i get to drive it for a week. And when the body shop is through it should be as good as new. Should get a call from the district gm rep tomorrow. We'll see what happens. I LOVE MY CAMARO. Just not a fan of the service that came with it.
