Buyers and Builders 3... X/Xx/2011
No reason not to start plans for the Oshawa Meet and Greet (BBOMG) 3 next year.

So...

In this poll, please choose weekends you know you will NOT be available. Remember... NOT available.
.
Multiple choices ARE ALLOWED.

kthxby

Update:
I have asked that the first two July weeks be removed from the poll and the last two June weeks be put in their place since Mike has reminded me that the plant is shut down the first two weeks in July each year.

holy crap that makes it complicated as to which weekends we are not available

i don't have a 2011 calander in front of me are you able to break down which dates are the canada day weekend, aug long weekend and sept long weekend?

i'm asking cuz i would prefer to see it on one of the long weekends as it'll be easier for me to take time off work

welcome to alberta we eat cow, drill oil and rope calves

wants to push you down a flight of stairs to see if you are like a slinky or if you bounce like a ball... either way, I am quite sure I will be amused

I have absolutely no idea when ANY Canadian holidays are. I figured the "NOT able" was easier since most people who take any kind of family vacation schedule it well in advance. For me, I know dates surrounding the 4th of July are out as well as the first "full week" weekend in August- in this case the 6th- because that is when our local Poker Run (boat race) is here in Buffalo. Other than that, I have the other 7 dates available. Easier to choose two that are "out" than 7 that are "in" I thought.

All

The first two weeks of July are always the summer shut down for both the Camaro and Impala plants here in Oshawa , there will be no workers to meet during that timeline . I'll vote for the August 20th weekend .

I can live with that. I'll ask Octane to scrap the first two July weeks since the plant will be shut down and add the last two June weeks in their place.

Ditto. Follows this year's dates... and works awesome for me, too.

In Canada, many provinces have Back to School right after Labour Day in September. Some provinces switched to August, and some of those have switched back to September as of this year.

June = bad month. No holidays for anyone attached to schools (myself, my wife). Those who teach = July/August holidays. My wife manages developers who design software for school districts in the U.S. and Canada. Likewise, if she wants to come it has to be July/August.
That said, if the majority vote for June... have a great time!!!! Enjoy yourselves!!!
However, I'll chime in again on Mike Judge's recommendation for an August date.
