I've done the ABL lighting on my car, and two other cars.

I used the light tube and the GM door lights for mine.

Hi... first post. I saw this site on someone's sig from the c5 site. Great place you have here!

I have a 2ss, so I only had to do the dash lights. I used the same light tube as Skuttduck. I also used the same light tube for under-seat lighting for the floor of the rear seats. The kids like it when they are in the boosters in back.

Tim,

I should have looked at your dash when I had the chance. Are you saying that you used a light tube from one of the doors? I figured they would be too short for the passenger side.

I had it on in the parking lot one night, it was then second night and I was speaking to Matster and Walter.

I used the digikey light tube. I initially had 8 LED lights behind there and that worked out ok, but the color didn't match.

Someone posted on the other site where you could get a clear 5mm acyrlic tube in Toronto. If that works, you could probably just paint a white strip down the back and have the same effect.

Have you looked into the lite tape option. It works well and doesn't require any holes to be drilled in the dash.

I didn't drill anyholes in my dash. In fact mine is lit by one LED light way over on the passenger side. I did trim a little bit off of two of the clips on the dash piece, but that is it.

If you do it that way, you need to break the LED out of the door light holder, and attach the tube with a piece of airline tubing.

Wasn't there a guy from Oshawa 09 that had a kit for sale- or bought one and was giving out the guy's business cards? I actually looked for the card a few months ago in my POS but couldn't find it.
