I have a Camaro and a GT-500 and I guess it all depends on what you're going for. Although the Mustang is super fast, it's pretty squirrelly. I prefer the way the Camaro handles, it feels much safer and controlled and for a V6, it's still plenty fast.

I like loud too, and all three cars are perfectly capable of satisfying that need with some modifications. If you don't want to pay too much, buy lightly used.

POWER never comes cheap...so how much power can you afford? And remember, with great power comes great responsibility! If you corner a Mustang at 70 mph...you will die a young man..seriously. So maybe a Camaro for you.

As for hearing it roar, that can be achieved in a new or used car with the right headers or just a hacksaw if you prefer.

Then save your money and buy a ZL1 Camaro. And don't drive stupid. Or you'll bleed on the gurney.

Stop acting like you're 17 and maybe you'll get some sage advice.

The V6 is neither slow, nor an embarresment. At 17, will you be paying for the car or your Mom and Pop? Remember, life in the fast lane will get you to the end (of life) sooner. Driving is a big responsibility. So is paying for the car, paying taxes, insurance and maintenance. At 17, you think you will live forever. I did. I'll be 51 in a few weeks and know I won't live forever, but I will live a long time if I do so responsibly.
