A6 record with just bolt ons?

Can anyone tell me what kind of power you can expect out of an A6 SS with just bolt ons and a tune? I just got a 2011 SS/RS A6 and I dont want to break into the motor or put on a power adder but i plan on throwing every bolt on I can with a tune.

a good intake,LT headers/hi-flow cats/x-pipe & tune should get you another 50-60hp. There's also other bolt-ons like an underdrive pulley and ported throttle-body that aren't too expensive and will squeeze out some more.

2010-2SS/RS/LS3/IBM/RP6: ECS-Paxton Supercharger / American Racing Headers & Exhaust / PFADT Suspension / DSS 9" 4.10 Rear / FOR SALE!

no problem...after you do those and get board, there's 3.73's or 4.10's and suspension mods that make a huge difference as well.

I bolted on a Roto-Fab CAI and went to a dyno and pulled 352 rwhp!
If you use .22% loss for the A6 that is almost 450 bhp.

My dyno guy says a Borla CAT back and a tune will get me 370 rwhp.

2SS/RS L99 A6, RotoFab CAI, Kooks LT headers w/High Flow cats, Borla CAT back, Heritage grill, SmartMirror, ABL lighting, drilled and slotted rotors w/Hawk pads, 400 watt amp.

Life is too short to drive an ugly car.
I bought mine from Camaro Scotty!

nice #'s (I don't think the loss % is that high though). What was your baseline #?

Yesterday I told my dyno guy that my goal is 500 hp at the crank without a blower and he said, NP. I am shopping for long tube headers.

That was my first trip to the dyno so I this is my baseline. I understand that .20% is standard for an automatic and this trans does not have a true 1:1 gear, (1:1.15) so he said to use .22%. Either way .2 or .22 gets you close to 450 bhp.

all i've done to mine is CAI, LT Headers, exhaust, and tune and picked up almost 50 rwhp. the L99 doesn't respond to mods as much as the LS3 does, but the funny thing is the A6 is just as fast, if not faster on the track

a underdrive pulley will pull another 5 rwhp, CNC ported throttle body will get you better throttle response. don't get a ported intake unless you plan on getting a beefy cam. lowering springs, sway bars, trailing arms, toe rods, and urethane bushing will help tighten up the suspension. i recommend 3.73 gears in the A6. you will see the biggest difference in the performance of the car once you get gears or a torque converter. the 3200 stall torque converter from Yank and a trans cooler are almost a must to get an even bigger advantage over the M6 guys!
