Are 5th gens prone to stone chips?

I have seen several complaints in different postings about stone chips on 5th gens and was wondering what everyone's experience has been. Do 5th gens chip any worse than say a 4th gen? Which areas are more prone to chipping on 5th gens?

At the moment they do, however, as addressed by Camaro Scotty, GM is implementing their premium paint system by upgrading many of their facilities with the same equipment all Cadillacs enjoy currently which will likely fight off the orange peel and paint chip liabilities 5th Gen Camaros currently have.

the car is low to the ground... more road debris the closer you get to the ground. get a clear bra, or use green painter's tape to avoid rock chips.

This car has the worst paint I have ever seen, and I paid $300 extra for orange. I hope it doesnt end up like their silverado disaster.

I can't say I have very many stone chips, but I had the splash guards installed when I first bought the car, and then installed the clear bra within a week of getting the car.

The place that it chips most has been reported by the gills. I have the most chips there, with a total of 6. I have one on the hood, and one on the passenger side up on the roof.

Your mileage may vary. I still just to be sure I waited the full 1 month before applying any wax or sealant to the car after it was delivered.

I've had my car for a little over 6 months, over 19K and only one chip...

Life is too short to drive a boring car.....

My car seems to be a magnet for stones and debris. So far, chipped windshield chipped Paint and a semi tire exploding gouged hood strip.
