No news, just that it will be smaller and lighter, on the Alpha platform (what the CTS is on)

I haven't seen anything as far as pics or renders or even how it might look.

What we do know is that the car will be on an Alpha platform.

Same platform as the Caddilac ATS, but 2 door.
Here is the ATS testing:

Alpha is smaller.

Also I think IIRC it may have a 5.5L DI. Only reason I say this is because that is what is being tested for Corvette.

Also I would look for a 4cyl to appear too.

I wish there were some renders or photoshops out there. Am very curious to see what might be coming with the 6thGen. There are a ton of renders out for the new mustang, some cool, some but nothing official as of yet. Here is one of the better ones.

Yeah thats pretty much everything i've heard up to this point as well. Thought maybe there might be something new out that i missed. The next gen mustang is also said to be much smaller and shedding several hundred lbs with its new platform. Seems like the muscle car wars are alive and well...

Also, Ford has said that they are not using a retro design, they will use a completely new design that isnt based off of a previous Mustang. Chevrolet will probably be doing this too since they have always followed Mustang's lead

I remember when the concept s197 came out at the big car shows, I was all over it. And when the '04 production cars came out. Well let's just say I was disappointed.

I would like to see some design concepts for the 6th gen. I want to do a concept drawing when I get time.
