How would you make it?

I wish I had Bob Lutz's job. So This is the closest I can get. Heres the fun part: How would you as a consumer and fan of the Camaro build this? Think what trim levels should go with what engines. How many color otions there should be? And what would be different between the trim levels?
This will be intreresting if everybody plays along. Have fun! (PS:Ill go first)

Base: 3.9 V6 starts under 20K
SS: 327 (or the 5.3L) with 325 horsepower and all the fuel saving tech.
SS: 350(365 hp?), yes I would bring back the LS-1 with the new tech.
SS/RS: LS-2 or LS-3 (the 6.2L 450hp) with hide-away hidelights as standard (others have the option)
Z/28: Either make another 302 with the same fetures as the LS-7 (450 HP)or if they have to use the LS-2 make the RS/SS use the LS-3
SS 427/ZL-1/or SS Yenko: LS-7. Thats all I have to say. lol

Point is: They made a design true to the past. Why not make the options similar to? In 1969 the Z/28 was one of the most exspencive camaros you could get. So why should it be a base V8 model? Same with the RS, make it a classy car. Give it some chassis options to. Give the Z/28 and the LS-7 camaros rockin' suspentions. Give the SS models A good midel of the road, straight-line monster. The RS/SS would have a higher better handling chassis then the SS but more inexspencive than the Z/28. And as far as color, Im thinking all the infamous colors (i.e, Hugger orange, and etc.). I would produce ten color options with stripe otions to. Colour inserts in the interior and some Carbon Fiber, aluminum, chrome trim peices as well. Thanks for reading the dream-

new camaro against mustang= mustang getting lol

I wrote a lengthy speel on this on another forum, but I'll condense it. Basically, the lineup would be;

RS
3.9/240
Z/28
5.3/303
SS
6.0/400
SS 383
6.2/435
SS 427
7.0/475
ZL1 (Limited Edition)
7.0/505

Trannys; 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic on the base V6, but on all others 6 speed/6 speed auto.

As for colors, how about we drop the names and have it be simply;

Black
Blue
Red
Dark Red
Orange
White
Gray
Silver
Yellow

Interior;
Light Gray, Dark Gray, or Tan seats with inserts the color of the exterior. With black, you would get your choice of any color insert.

Stripes;
Stripes would be available in all the colors. You would get your choice of any color stripe with white or black. With all those color, engine, and transmission choices there would be a Camaro for everybody. A ton more choices than you'll get with the Challenger or Mustang.

My ideal lineup would look like this:

Camaro 3.6L OHV v6 240hp

Camaro Sport, 3.9L HFV6 290hp

Camaro Sport with optional 5.3L V8 330hp

Camaro SS 6.2L LS3 425hp

Camaro Z/28 LS7 500hp

My bet is it comes in like this though:
Camaro 3.9L HFV6 320hp
SS 6.2L LS3 425hp
Z28 with LS7 or possibly LS8 6.2L supercharged

Nowhere has anyone ever said a 5.3 should be offered INSTEAD of a 7.0L.

You need to get off the 7.0L thing because that's not what is being discussed. Every time Chevroletman has brought it up it is as a 5.3 base motor to complement the higher HP offerings.

I for one think it is a good idea for people that want a V8 but don't want 500,000 HP.

Camaro 3.6L OHV v6 240hp

Camaro Z28 6.0L v8 400hp

Camaro SS 7.0L(I'm guessing) v8 505hp

This would keep it simple and should please every type of buyer.
