Camaro badge

So ok, there's a Chevy emblem on the grille of the concept.
I can live with that.

But I'd love to see a re-work of the Camaro badge that we've all grown to know and love on the nose of our cars.

So I came up with this:

....I think it's a win-win.

Chevy gets their gold bowtie like they want.
Us enthusiasts get the Camaro badge like we want.

Thoughts on this subject?

I don't know if it was b/c of my current car, but I don't like the looks of the chevy emblem on a camaro. Especially the gold one on the new concept. I do however like the idea of the camaro emblem it the exact location. Anway of chopping that in the picture?

We need the emblem back, but IMO it should be on the top of the nose, not the front. We'll see what they come up with.

Its worth noting the 1st gens and early 2nd gens didn't have the emblem.

Actually 1969 is the only year to not have a Camaro badge.

1967 was rectangular with a small bowtie in the center.
1968 was similar, except the bowtie was twice as wide as the rest.

2nd Gens had the Red or Gold "C" badge on the nose.

The badge I made up is a combination of the 1968 badge and the 4th Gen badge.

Just like the 67s and 68s...
Base models had the regular Camaro badge in the grille.
RS and SS had their respective badge in the grille.

I think it has to be incorporated somehow. As for the gold chevy bowtie, it either has to go, or needs to be blue or red. Be neat if you could get one of the three, gold blue and red, at your discression.

i think it'd be cool if you could get it to match the color of the car.
