Theft Alarm

Entered garage to drive other vehicle. 2012 Camaro's keys were in laundry room next to garage hanging on a wall hook.

Theft alarm sounded from the Camaro. Shut it off with remote.

Yesterday chose the Camaro to drive and theft alarm system sounded without pressing remote.

Suggestion(s)?

Garage
First thought would be a faulty sensor/trigger. Some have reported this behavior with low system voltages (bad/low battery) and others had faulty key fobs... Either way it sounds like a trip to the dealer.
