How fast have you gone?

Camaro owners, V6 or V8, how fast have you had your prize going on the highway/surface streets?

Hmmmm. I hit 135 completely stock on a closed airstrip. That's all I can document. However I've been force fed since November 2012. Have been much faster than 135 but since I cannot document, why throw out a number? I'm confident that my car far exceeds any posted speed limit in any civilized country. I'll just leave it at that.

I have got mine up to around 100 mph in one spot while roasting off the PZeros. On the highways I only go no more than 10 over the limit when it's safe and I can notice if there is a patrol car coming. This method has kept me speeding ticket free since the year 2000. I just knocked on wood.

I did 100 just to say i did when people ask...I really don't drive much over the speed limit anymore not worth it plus you never know what the police are driving now adays...

I will be going to Talledega in May for Vettes for Vets and drive around the track so i might set a new record there.

I have had my V6 up to 105 mph and that was enough for me. There has been times that some punk comes running by in some modded Chevy Cobalt and I would love to punish his ego, but the cops are everywhere it seems where I live and I'm going to bet that an Inferno Orange Camaro with a plate that says "XCELLR8" isn't going to get many warnings!

145 one time on I45 half way between Dallas and Houston. Was trying to keep up with a Lambo, but the front end started to feel light and backed off.

At those speeds all you can see is a very small window in front of you and when you blink you have traveled the distance of a football field.
