Should I add a sunroof?

I don't even know if it's possible or not, I guess I could buy GM factory parts and have a shop install it just so it would fit the roof correctly, but Honestly I would even care if was electric or not.

but can some one give me some advice on adding a sunroof? would it ruin the car? Would it cost to much??

What kind of shop does this? a body shop I guess?

I don't know man. The cost might not be worth it. And you'd have to research the structural integrity of the vehicle as well as any warranty on the actual sun/moon roof. I don't know if it will have any impact on the value but I would personally shy away from any vehicle that had a sun/moon roof installed aftermarket. You might just wanna trade up to one. If you're gonna do it tho, I'd say make sure it is electric. I had a manual one years ago and it was a royal PITA.

It was a $900 option I hate to see what it would cost to put in after ... my understanding, though dated, is a coupe without a sunroof and one with r very different in the roof structure, not just cut a hole n put it in

I don't know if you can.Mine has a factory sunroof and my car has a flat roof, most other camaros that don't have a sun roof have a indent down the middle of the roof so it's not flat.Unless somebody has a custom made sun roof for that type of roof line I think you might be out of luck.

I would NOT try this, it will not work with the current roof on your car. Your much better off trading it in for a car already equipted with the factory option.

I would NOT recommend a aftermarket sunroof and I dont think it would even work with your current roof as some other members said. Your asking for trouble by doing a aftermarket sunroof...

When I lived in Arizona, a sunroof was great... In Nebraska, not so much.
