sooo many Mustangs!!

I hurt my leg Friday at work so I can't drive. I talked my wife into driving me around. Anyways we drove to a town about 20 minutes from my home. I was bored while sitting in the passenger seat. I decided to count how many Stang's vs Camaros. I counted 26 Stang's and 4 Camaros. No offense to Ford owners but I'm so glad I don't own a stang. Way too many of them.

Yeah lots of Stang's around. I assume its because camaro wasnt produced for 8 years but not sure. I have 2 camaros myself and I had never really paid attention to the numbers of Stang's until today. Maybe its because I'm flying high on hydrocodon? Lol... Not sure about that either.

Even before I bought mine, I knew there were a LOT more Mustangs on the road and I expect you are right that it appears that way because of the Camaro gap. These days I do pay more attention to the "other" cars on the road. On my typical drive home from work ... about 30 miles on somewhat rural US highway I typically see 4 to 6 Mustangs, 0 to 2 Challengers and 0 to 1 Camaro. The Camaro is by far in the minority. That said, went to Virginia Beach this past week and saw a lot of Camaros. I expect that is more influenced by the beach crowd and the military presence.

I go to a cruz in every Tuesday at a restaraunt called Highway 55 in Gastonia NC. I'm the only Camaro there. I see about 12 Stang's and 5 Dodges. I'm OK with that though because I love cars.

Same here in El Paso...I see on average 10 to 15 of them daily...and with an exception of a few they always look bad or mistreated...While the Camaro's I see never do...maybe I am being biased!!!

This is why I went with Camaro over Mustang when I was first in the market. I live in Kansas City and I'd bet even today the number of Stangs Vs. Camaros is probably 5 to 1!

Thinking back I believe the Camaro has just barely outsold the Mustang in 2011, 2012, and 2013; I don't know about 2014. With that 8 year gap, its not likely to change percentage wise for a few more years

I see 'em, around here. Big deal.

Remember the absolutely HUGE buzz the Camaro created when the folks at GM brought the 5th Gen out, and again when they gave us the C7 'Vette?

Most other cars barely get noticed.
