Over the last 2 years this SS has been a conversation starter for many other car enthusiast and I. While sitting at reds, getting a weekly wash, or just shopping at the store, the "nice car", "cool ride", and "love that car" comments are make-my-day moments. But in all my over 28 years on the road, I've never had a vehicle literally stop traffic (in a good way) until today. Sitting behind a blue civic at a stop sign this afternoon and he wouldn't go. Waited for a couple minutes wondering why he wasn't turning - I was just about to give a polite honk.
Then a friendly Guy in his 40's jumps out of the civic and jogs back to me to compliment the car and ask several questions about the carbon fiber hood. He loved the look and turns out his sister owns a 2011 Camaro. After a minute or two there were four or five cars stacking up behind us and it was time to move on as the brief conversation was stopping traffic. Another perma-grin moment!
