Have you checked the tire pressure yourself with a tire gauge? ( don't hate me for asking just trying to help figure this problem out)...

But both the rear ones going bad at the same time? I know the battery life on the TPMS is supposed to be 6 to 7 years so why would the stems be failing already?

Sorry OP...I've don't seem to have any answers...just more questions.
May I ask what your mileage is out of curiosity? And do you drive your Camaro in the winter weather?

bbb10,

Apologies to read of your tire pressure light concerns. While I realize you're seeking opinions from others, if you feel an official GM diagnosis is necessary, I'd be happy to communicate your sentiments with the Customer Experience Managers (CEM) at your preferred GM dealer. Please know that you're welcome to message us privately if you'd like to proceed, or if you simply want your experience(s) officially documented.

Regards,

William R.

mine came on yesterday....pressure was checked, relearned the sensors. Then this morning the left rear is reading lower than all the other ones again. Brought it to the dealer, and it turns out I picked up a nail, was very difficult to find until the wheel/tire came off the car.

Got it fixed and I'm on the road again.

I had this problem on my left rear wheel when I purchased the car back in 2011. Took it to the dealership and they found the TPMS has gone bad. Replaced it under warranty.
