I can finally drive my Camaro
I haven't been around much on the forum. Years of playing football, lacrosse, the Marine Corps and Police work finally caught up with me.
I've had bad knee's for years, when I was in my mid 40's I was told I had to have my knee's replaced. I was taking shot's, rooster comb injections, and had them cleaned up a few times to nurse them along.
In July I was coaching trap and my right knee blew up, on July 29th I had my first total knee replacement. Therapy was going great, I was in outpatient therapy four days after my surgery, walking without any aids. I was driving the next week in our Expedition, couldn't get in the Camaro.
In November I walked into our dark bedroom and tripped over the dog, and destroyed my left knee. Had my second total knee replacement surgery on November 10th. Went to outpatient therapy right away.
Last week, I was able to get in the Camaro and drive it. It was like falling in love all over again. My wife has been driving it to work and loves it.
We may have to buy another one, I'm not sure she's going to give it back.
Merry Christmas everyone.
