If you had the chance to change anything

on your 5th Gen from the factory. What would it be?

Along with the mods, what if, you had the chance to fix things before it was ever made?

A hard cover for the convertible top. Had one on my 91, and they fixed it on the Gen 6.

SW shorty's, Borla ATAK cat back, SLP Blackwing CAI, Diode Dynamics DRL's, Technostalgia LED sequential tail lights. beauty bar.

I would change minor things. In 2010 the gauge needles are very thick. It takes up almost 5 mph on the gauge. I would make them thinner. I would also change the hump you have to lift your foot over to exit the vehicle. Cup holders in a more realistic place would be nice. I would change the opening of the trunk to be a bit larger. And I would have given it a locking mechanism for the fuel tank. All little stuff.

I would put the door lock/unlock mechanism on the door where it's supposed to go (and was moved to on later models), relocate the battery into the engine bay (also a where it's supposed to go thing) and put a spare tire in every trunk. Now to get really picky...I would eliminate the deep wells on either side of the trunk opening that do nothing but gather trash and are very difficult to clean and that mail slot thing never would of happened.
