Are the light door covers on the R/S functional?

I am not sure these door covers are functional?

you mean headlight covers? if so no... that is just a mock up of what it could look like if it had them..

The date of the video is May 2006. Probably not going to happen.

also notice that the turn signal is on the out side. . . Not sure if this would work the way the camaro is now.

that vid is so cool. its been on the web since the concept was first shown..
i remember thinking when i first saw it 'boy are people gonna be disappointed when they realize this wont be in the production model'
