So I went to the dealership today...

and they went through a paperback with me for all of the options for the SS and I told him everything I wanted from it. I don't remember it ALL, but here's most of it:

Inferno Orange 2SS manual
Black Hockey Stripes
RS package
Ambient lighting
Sunroof

And I know I'm forgetting something else, but other than that, the entire total came to around 43k. Deal or no deal? If no deal, where should I be looking to go for ordering? I'm from South Florida so if anyone is familiar with the area or more north of here, I'm willing to travel to get the best possible deal. All opinions welcome!

43K sounds a bit steep.
What is the dealer markup they are charging for that car?
We have two Chevy dealers that sponsor the site, maybe contact them and see if they have any cars left to order?

Inferno Orange Metallic GCR $0.00
RS Package for SS WRS $1,200.00

That is a $5k difference.
Sounds like if he does have more options not stated in the original post it might not be that far off with taxes, destination etc?

I believe those prices include the destination charge.

That was just an added up estimate. No destination charge or anything. Just with the upgrades I listed. Who are the 2 chevy dealers on here?

the msrp prices we've seen listed do include the $750 destination charge.

I agree that your price seems high unless you added in some other expensive options (like the 21" rims).
