First Post - THANK YOU!

What a great Forum!

I ordered my 2010REDSS on 10/31 after spending some time "lurking" on this site picking up all the great info and ideas from each of you. After all the help, knowing just what I wanted for my 2010 was easy, and ordering was a piece of cake. (I am waiting for the 20" Painted Wheel RS Package delete though so I can get my Polished wheels ordered......). Very good search capabilities on the site.

It gave me flashbacks to the spring of 2002 when I spent way too many hours on the SLP forum (and several others) when I ordered and then received my 2002REDSS. I have since modded the 2002 for road racing and have had a blast with the car, and my youngest son and next generation "car guy" will learn to drive the LS1 6spd next year when he turns 14. (And no, he won't be driving it on public roads until he is 16 and well qualified. He wants a 2ndGen for his High School car anyway.....)

I sure missed all the great people and "Bowtie Camaraderie" the past few years when the Camaro was on "hiatus", but I look forward to many more years of Camaro chat and I am thrilled that my son will grow up in a world that has Camaro's on the showroom floor of his local Chevy dealer.

Not to sound too sappy......but the world is a better place with a new Camaro in it (and of course in my garage!)

See you in the forums!

Beautiful Magnum.

My "driver" today - as I wait for my 2010REDSS is an Inferno Red SRT8 Charger.

While it is no Camaro - this Mopar can GO!

When the 2010 SS shows up I am going to have my hands full trying to decide if I should keep the SRT8 for my daily driver and baby the Camaro a bit. Probably depends on just how much of a beating I would take on getting rid of the SRT8.

I hope to get at least ONE nice shot of the 2010 flanked by my 2002 SS and the SRT8 in the garage. 1,200 horsepower in one driveway!

Thanks for all the nice notes guys (& gals).

Thanks for the props, 2010REDSS.

I see you got the 'fastest' color for your CSRT8! Any mods to it? I'll more than likely be keeping my Magnum as it has way too much into it to trade it in. It's my daily driver now and will be a great backup vehicle when the Camaro finds it's way into my driveway.

No mods to the SRT8, yet....

Warranty expires in Feb and thinking about exhaust, intake, chip. Do you have any recommendations in mind????

It is one bada$$ four door. The guy that sold it to me has been bugging me to trade it in on a Challenger. I told him that the ONLY two door sports car I would buy is a CAMARO!!

As for the color. There are two kinds of cars, RED and everything else.
