NEW "COYOTE" FROM FORD

I ran across this article i don't know if anyone else seen this. ford mustang needs more hp. check this link out a new engine for ford.

I guess it will compete with GM's V8 in the SS Camaro. Ford is working on the 'Coyote', and Chrysler is working on the 'Phoenix'. Now all GM needs to do is pick a random animal name for a new engine. 0_o

oh, I'm sure...but maybe not by all that much...and it'll probably still only have a 5 speed/solid rear. not to mention those pretty little horses.

What did Ford and Dodge do, blueprint a LS and then change a few measurements to copy it?

I know that is what Dodge did, but now Ford?

isn't the LS OHV cam in block and according to this this is DOHC.I know with the valve covers and the intake it DOES look ALOT like an LS but I think that's where the similarities to the LS stop
