Oregon government moving to take away car owners' choices

Stand up and be counted, Oregonians. This is just the first step down a path we can't let our lawmakers (in any state) follow.

Email your state representatives or the governor and tell them this is NOT a good idea!

My brother who lives in Wash races and does so about half the time at Portland Raceway so even tho it's not me racing, I still feel this affects me, since I go watch him race when I can.

This is ridiculous, do this Oregon and see how many additional people that work for these companies lose their jobs, you will be hurting the economy. I don't understand the one-sided way of thinking, and I'm not just implying liberals, I have some liberal views, I'm just talking idiots in general that are all freaked out and making decisions from knee-jerk-reactions.

2011 Synergy Green Metallic 1SS Camaro:
RS Package, White Ralley Stripes, Premium Sound.
Mods; Flowmaster Exhaust, Vararam CAI, Pfadt Sport Suspension, Budnik "Ice" Wheels, Nitto Invo tires

I just love how politicians know wha tis best for everbody but can't even take care of themselves and how every thought that comes out of their mouths contradict the last one that came out of their mouth.

The economy is crap but they want to pass a bill that will put 10's of thousands of people out of work.

Oregon is also the ones that are trying to put a tax on the miles you drive by putting a gps unit in ALL new vehicles and then send you a bill for the miles you drove that year.

They are loosing tax money from reduced fuel sales due to more fuel efficient vehicles that it is forcing on us, but then complain because we spend less on fuel.

I don't think politicians could live without double standards.

EPIC HUMONGOUS MONUMENTAL FAIL. Doubt it will happen but you never know...I would think that would cause a lot of people to move out...which would cost them a lot of $$ in taxes.

2010-2SS/RS/LS3/IBM/RP6: ECS-Paxton Supercharger / American Racing Headers & Exhaust / PFADT Suspension / DSS 9" 4.10 Rear / FOR SALE!

So, if this bill was to pass. Does that mean places like Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc. would not be able to sell replacement parts for automobile? Does that mean if a part on your car fails, that you will have to purchase OEM parts?

In America, we chose the aftermarket parts we want.

In Soviet America, the aftermarket parts choose you.
