Smile GM ability to continue ? Please comment.

http://www.comcast.net/articles/fina...USINESS-US-GM/

Hey guys,

I just like some of you i have concerns, i am looking to per-order a camaro but im having trouble making that decisions considering how much in bad shape the company is in. Read the article, this could just be the drive-by so im wondering to get some feedback from all you geniousess in this forum. =P

I understand they have presold a lot of camaros but thats 300-400 million in sales, we are loaning these guys billions and they are burning that like hotcakes, dont think just camaros sales are enough to keep the comp. up. Im not a business genious but some thoughts from some of you would prob give me some comfort. =P

It's not that people who comment on here want GM to fail, and this is just not panic talk. This is a real concern. The union hasn't given GM anything, and global sales fell another 40% (USA today yesterday). According to Motor Trend, GM took away trash cans forcing people to use community recycle bins. If this is true, that is real sign of desperation. I know we are all excited on the Camaro, but there is a real issue here, and dreaming about a car, and ignoring the data that is coming out won't make it go away. A lot of analysts don't see GM surviving after this year, as they don't think they have enough room to restructure under bankruptcy. I hope every day that GM can pull out of this, but reality is reality, there is a possibility it may not happen.
