looks like i found my daily commuter so i dont have to put so many miles on my camaro. using it right now as a commuter, but work is only 10 miles round trip here in Tulsa. once i move back to Houston it'll be a different story with about 60 miles round trip everyday in bumper to bumper traffic!

Yeah, but it's probably going to cost $40K+. Sure, there's a $7,500 tax incentive, but it doesn't give you back $7,500...It just lowers (hopefully) your tax liability.

Are you sure? I thought it was a tax credit you could use on the car when you buy it.

What I read was a $7,500 tax break. I read it in the CNN article, but I can't guarantee it's accuracy. Usually a tax break is about liability, and not actual $ in your pocket.
