Subaru Legacy Limited's transmission is a peek at future

More cars in the future will resemble the 2010 Subaru Legacy Limited, whether we like it or not.

CVTs are great when designed properly. All SAE Baja cars use a CVT to get a 5hp Briggs & Straton motor to move a 700lbs car over terrain that even some of the best aftermarket offroad setups cant tackle.

My brother's nissan versa has a CVT. I guess its a good transmission but I can't get over the fact that it never shifts. I'll stick with sticks personally.
