"It's not the electronics, it's the people!"

"So, Mr. Lentz.. if your car goes out of control then it's your fault? If you kill people in your car it's your fault; not the cars?"

I'm surprised the US Pres is saying that.
Vehemently denying the obvious is normally part of the JAPANESE culture.

(srsly, it is)

I read that he admitted that the "fix" for the recall is actually not fixing the problem. That is referring to the floor mats and that bracket thing.

*cough*sinojapaneserevisionisthistoryfiasco*cough*

Not to mention Lentz now says that some of it may even be transmission related IE bad/seized synchro in the transmissions causing the engines to surge..

If it ain't one thing.. I wish I could upload my DVR recordings because that's what he said could be causing earlier MY cases to be doing the same crap as the newer cars are doing.

So now the whole DRIVELINE may be suspect in these cars. Hoooooleeeey donkey doo..

People may rag on my car's cheap plastic interior. But at least it doesn't try to kill me.
