2008 Roush 427R Trak Pak: The Boss meets Boy Racer

By now, we’ve seen every variation of Ford’s Mustang that possibly could exist under the sun. Even so, Roush’s 427R (“Like a Teenager”, AW, September 25, 2006) makes us stand up and take notice.

I think the "427R" is a deceptive, marketing scheme,
making seem like the car is equipped with a race version of a 427ci engine.
or to make it sound appealing, to the less informed enthusiasts or novice
car buyers.

they've been doing it for years now (i.e. the 360R and 380R) and it works for them. why change it?
