The Obama administration said today it will bring in NASA scientists and intensify its probe into sudden acceleration complaints from Toyota vehicles.

Toyota has the problem, Toyota should do their own research on their own dime to solve it.

Amen to that. Why the heck is our govt spending money to help a competitor?

I agree that our tax dollars should not be wasted on this, let Toyota & the courts work it out. After all, the NTSB did their investigation on several cases & did not find problems with the vehicles.
What I don't understand is in 2008 Toyota had 52 complaints & Ford had 36 but we are not hearing anything about investigating Ford! They both had 16% of the market that year, GM had 23% of the market yet only had 7 complaints!!!
Just sounds like we are on a witch hunt now.

They didn't want tin foil on the Lexus cars so they asked NASA to supply them with Mylar foil instead..
