Sibling rivalry: Dodge Challenger SRT8 vs. Challenger R/T Mopar:

Sometimes it can be hard to choose--do you take the Dodge Challenger SRT8, with its 6.1-liter Hemi V8 and the six-speed manual, or the Challenger R/T, with the 5.

....or why not a Challenger R/T with the 6sp? for the diff in price, the R/T is a much better buy. you can get a bones stock R/T with the 6sp for about $30k where as an SRT8 will run you about $46k. the 5sp is an Automatic and for me, why have a muscle car without all the muscle?

manual trans is the only way to go, whether it be a Camaro, Mustang or Challenger. just my opinion......

Plus the SRT8 gets the gas guzzler tax.
Just take the money saved and turbo the R/T..BAM good to go, bro.
