MARK PHELAN | 2007 DREAM CRUISE: DREAM CAR

It's the accidental icon. Nobody -- not even Chevrolet -- expected to make history when the 1957 Bel Air went on sale, but it became one of the landmark images in American pop culture; one of the most recognizable and admired cars the world has ever known.

I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of the Bel Air..but it would HAVE to be big..no streamlined Bel Air or I'll club a seal.

Use the ham on seal. Sometimes digging up american icons are not the best. Let the Bel Air rest in peace.:gr_patriot:

I agree, kinda. I don't see how they could possibly remake it and well me personally liking it. If they some how managed to make a kick ass looking one, it would be awesome. For the most part though, let it rest.

The only way they could make a kickass one is if they let the folks at holden design one..see the EFEGY or whatever concept? It's bloody awesome..shame it's never going to see production.
