Kit transforms Camaro into new Firebird

For a decade or so, Projx Auto of Troy was busy doing design work for Tier I automotive suppliers, styling everything from instrument panels to door trim.

I'd have to see the whole thing up close and personal, but it seems they did their homework. I'm not a big fan of most of the Firebird conversions out there, but for whatever reason, this one DOES look like Pontiac still exists. It actually doesn't look bad at all. Maybe because they didn't try to make do and actually designed new parts.

The first conversion I actually like, from the side and front at least. Not bad for $7,500.

The other ones tried to make it look like the early 70's ones with the giant headlights..which didn't fit the lines of the car at all.

But this...this I like.

Best Firebird kit I've seen , the front point seems like it is way forward but it may just be the camera angle. I'm guessing the kit and install would run $12k-$15k but you wouldn't see another one going the other way.

Kind of lame to put the Pontiac emblem on a new car when the brand is no more
