Washington — A group of business and retired military leaders called on Congress today to do more to boost electric vehicle use among the nation's businesses.

It's a backdoor plot by the Electric Utility Companies to boost their profits (and the State ((increased Tax Revenues)) ); more Generating Plants will have to be built (NOT! - Environmentalist will interfere), the Utility Companies will be able to raise their rates courtesy of the PUC (which will impose more taxes). Ya can't run an electric car if ya can't (afford to) charge it. Only the RICH will be able to afford the increased cost of electricity - the poor and Middle Class will struggle to just keep the lights on and the Refrigerators running. This push is very perplexing since we are often told to conserve to avoid overloading the (power) grid; and all this without thousands of electric-guzzling EVs on the road.
