Chevy Volt named Motor Trend Car of the Year

The 2011 Chevrolet Volt extended-range electric vehicle has been named Car of the Year by Motor Trend magazine, for General Motors' second title in four years.

COTY is nothing but a gimmick to me, but the Volt is quite the piece of technology for sure

Quite a few of those were well deserving in their time and there were reasons for giving it out. Many were all new or trend setting automobiles, like the Volt is today. Nobody can see into the future

The 02 thunderbird may have been underpowered and comically overpriced..but it was/is a daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn good looking car.
