I just started driving manuals (about a year prior to getting the Camaro), and have really been enjoying it. I understand if you were driving through traffic everyday it would get old quick, but I don't have to deal with that too often. It just seems like you can get so much more out of your car.

2011 Synergy Green Metallic 1SS Camaro:
RS Package, White Ralley Stripes, Premium Sound.
Mods; Flowmaster Exhaust, Vararam CAI, Pfadt Sport Suspension, Budnik "Ice" Wheels, Nitto Invo tires
Upcoming Mods; Custom grill and badging.

i ordered mine with an auto thinking it would be a daily driver in houston traffic, but that quickly changed after i got it. now i live in a rural area and drive her on the weekends.

my next sports car will definitely be a manual.

I have a little 5spd econocar and I don't think I could ever own a car that's not a manual now.

If I had multiple cars then maybe one auto in the bunch for the rare times it would be beneficial....but from now on I must have manual.

You just have so much more control over your vehicle. Autos are basically "Put it in drive, push gas, hold on." Sure they got the 'shifters' and all that crap now..but it's not real shifting..it's just the shifter hitting a sensor that tells the auto that you would like to shift to another gear. Nothing like the mechanical feel of telling the shifter to "GET YO ASS IN THERE".

I'm curious what stages I and II were, just not sure if I'm ready for that answer.
