Spring has arrived, and so have the pony car wars. But the big question this year is whether anybody can catch up with the Chevy Camaro. Last year, Camaro outsold Mustang for the first time since 1985. Through March, Camaro has sold 19,972 cars to Mustang's 15,419. The Dodge Challenger is gaining steam but still a distant third, with 9,742 sales.
The only reason there are more mustangs on the road is because GM stoped producing the camaro for 7 years. Should not have happen, mustang gained to much ground and I don't think we will ever catch up.

Mustangs don't turn heads. 5th Gen Camaros DO! Even after having mine for 2 years it STILL turns heads.
Well put. I had 05 and 08 Mustangs, and theres no comparison. I like the Mustang, but what I love about the Camaro and Challenger is they look like concept cars. Remember when concepts always looked uber cool, but by the time it hit the street you had a severely watered down ride? If you wouldve shown me sketches of the present day Camaro and Challenger 10 years ago, I wouldve said "Thats way too cool looking, theyll never make it".
The Mustang is just a little too "safe" looking for me. Great front end, sedan like back end. Theres no doubt the other two make much more of a visual statement.
