Thumbs up May 2011 sales: GM, Ford, Chrysler are the BIG 3 AGAIN!

Well May 2011 was a great month for American car sales!

GM, Ford and Chrysler were 1,2,3 on the sales charts and made up 49.7% of all sales.

The Chevrolet Malibu was the month's best-selling car, and the Chevrolet Cruze edged out the competition for best sales in its class.

And of course, Camaro outsold Mustang and Challenger again.

Meanwhile overall auto sales in the US are down, which might partially explain why the big 3 are the top 3 for that month.

Still legal in 16 states. It's happy. It's fun. It's Happy Fun Car.
