Ford F-150 named Motor Trend Truck of the Year

Motor Trend magazine named Ford's F-150 the Truck of the Year, edging out the Nissan NV commercial van, the Ram HD Laramie Longhorn and the Toyota Tacoma. While Motor Trend tested versions of the pickup with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, it was Ford's 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that helped capture the award.

Has the F150 ever lost? I think they are afraid to change tradition. But little do they know, the black Suburbans, in this case black Silverados, are out to get them.

I agree with you CamaroSSMan. It is probably easier to keep rewriting stuff year after year than to actually provide the people with the truth. Many of these different testing companies have shown that they are biased towards certain brands. It does not really matter anymore to me. If I was buying a truck, I would take into consideration this reward, and the reasons why it was given to the Ford, but I would also have to look at all of the competitors, and drive all of them. I would never base a purchase of more than 1000 dollars off of reviews. But that is just my opinion.
