Warren ? General Motors Co. has designed a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine for Cadillac that it hopes will take the fight to the Germans.

I think that is the same motor that the Saturn Sky redline and Pontiac Solstice GXP used? Those were 2.0 ecotecs and I think rated at 270HP as well.

sicker than most.

That's almost as much hp as my 4.8L in my Silverado!

My stock 2.4 Ecotec has 174 hp in my '08HHR and it is amazing what it will do when it gets wound up. Short stroke and big power band after 3000 rpm.
