Feds investigate door fires in 2007 Camrys, RAV-4s

The probe of driver's side door fires could affect as many as 830,000 vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Friday in documents posted on its website. The vehicles have not been recalled.

It'll get swept underneath the rug..like all the other extremely bad **** that non-american companies do/have happen.

If it was Chevy, Ford, or Chrysler product..it'd be all over the news, slander would be thrown everywhere, etc. etc.


Because...as you know..anything with "MADE IN USA" on it must not have any pride taken in it and must be slandered into oblivion.

Thank you for the link provided. Just the other day, I came across an article connected with the issue. The post was entitled "NHTSA probes Toyota Camry and RAV 4 over door fires". The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration had begun a preliminary investigation into some Toyota Camry, Camry Solara and RAV 4 models over several customers complained of possible fires in the driver's door. The federal safety regulator is not, however, issuing a recall at this time. Well, good thing there are no reports of any injuries over the issue.
