I want one (for various reasons I won't disclose here) but that **** chinese transmission keeps me from getting one until it goes away.

Only the Chevrolet Suburban has been in uninterrupted production longer.... No offense Lu, but I would buy a Suburban before I would buy a Mustang.

The only Mustang I ever "kinda" liked the looks of was the GT350 C/S. But it was too late to be lured. I had already spied a 69 SS. And even tho I couldn't afford any of the "examples" available to me as a 16yr old buying his own first car (bought a 65 GTO instead). I knew one day I would rock a Camaro...

I've owned 2 Mustangs. A 2003 Mustang that I still own today and has never once been in a shop for more than an oil change and tires. I'm at 108,000 and there's no signs of any trouble at all.

I've also had a 1968 Mustang that I sold in February with original everything except steering wheel and radio. It never gave me anymore trouble than any 1960's car would give anyone. Yeah sometimes you had to pump the gas a little to start it up, but it always started up.

If people don't like the car because of cosmetics, that's fine. I have no quarrels with that, but people who claim they're junk because they heard from a friend whose cousin once saw in a magazine from a writer etc etc will be placed in the same group as anyone who argues Xbox over PS over Nintendo. Fanboy/Fangirl status.

I've onwed them all, dodge, ford, chevy, plymouth, mecury, and a few foreign ones. Some better than others. At times I have loved them all and at times I have cussed them all. The one I owned the longest was a Ford Ranger that I had for 14 years. That one I wished I still had...ras out..
