The move is a possible blow for the Canadian Auto Workers who signed a new labor agreement with GM earlier this year and a plum for Michigan.

Cool. My hometown. There used to be all kinds of factories for Oldsmobile here, now there is just bit open spaces.

Hopefully they can make a car as good as Oshawa. Mike and company have set the bar pretty high.

I sincerely hope that the Oshawa plant is getting another car to build and that they are not going to have layoffs over this.

They are still making the impala, and others.

Aren't impalas used often for police cars?

totally sucks. the oshawa plant (1.5 hrs away) will probably close now, probably 1000 jobs gone, i remember gm saying the reason oshawa stayed open was because the camaro saved that plant and its workers, i smell another bailout ahead

It's a flex plant and makes several other vehicles than the Camaro, it isn't going anywhere.
