Thats a shame, I think the Volt is a great car and would sell alot more if the price was cheaper, I just happened to talk to a guy in the grocery parking lot the other day and he has a new Volt and he is getting 105MPG and loves the car!

Totally agree. Unfortunate that it came out during a down economy, or it would have been snapped up. People are afraid to spend extra money right now.

I like the way it looks, and the versatility.

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"

Expensive because its the first of its kind but I also think its ahead of its time in some ways. Gasoline got expensive and then came down enough to where people didnt panic plus the economy isnt very good so people are not willing to spend on a car like this. I think it can still be a big success in the future.

sicker than most.

I read a Motor Trend test today between the Volt and Prius, they ended naming the Volt #1 and said the only thing holding it back is the price....GM needs to take note of this!

Sad but True the Volt should top out at $35k and low end of $29k they would double if not tripple the sold volume.
