January US Sales - GM UP! Everyone else down!

Overall US vehicle sales in January were down 4.3% from a year ago.

GM posted the only sales gain, with sales rising 2.6%

Ford: -3.6%
Chrysler: -12%
Toyota: -2.3%
Honda: -2.3%
Nissan: -7.3%

Woot! Go GM!

Chevy Malibu up 58%
Chevy Cobalt up 33%
Chevy HHR up 32%
Buick Lucerne up 70%
Cadillac CTS up 95%!!!!

Enclave/Acadia/Outlook crossovers.... UP 134%

Those are some nice gains. The Acadia and CTS lines are great looking vehicles.

What makes this very interesting is that it has happened in the midst of the current economic concern.
