Thank God

I was so happy to see anything but a Toyota win the Daytona 500. Hearing The three knuckleheads in the booth say over and over that it had been X amount of years since a foreign make won, made me want them to lose even more. I wish Jeff Burton could've held on there at the end to win it for RCR two years in a row.

I was happy to see Ryan Newman win it.
What a great way to end his winless streak!

Garage
I like Ryan Newman.

But Daytona & Talladega means only the last lap counts, and he who is luckiest to be in first on that lap - WINS!

This will be my last year at Talladega....Going back to Michigan next year.

I actually got up off my recliner and started yelling GO DODGE! Thank God an AMERICAN MAKE won the race. How sick would it be to have a Toyota win the 50th Daytona 500? I'm sure the Waltrip aholes would have loved it, as well as FOX,because they know where their bread is buttered. Sellouts. As Lorcin said in another thread, Nasrice...sickens me to know toyota will prolly win a race this year, thus my un-interest in supporting Brian France's goldmine.

Bob Lutz: "There's no doubt that a design-driven philosophy is the only one that will work. People who are not sensitive to design, people who don't care about vehicles, people who view a vehicle as an appliance, they just default to Toyota. We will never win that one."

Jr took the wrong line right there at the end. The car in front of him went down and crossed the line, so he had to fall back to his place before doing that. Jr just happend to get behind him at the wrong time. Of course it doesn't mean he would have won, but I am sure he would have been in a better spot than he was.
