The minivan is dead, right? Think again:

A funny thing happened to the minivan on the way to the scrap heap. Competition knocked out General Motors and Ford. But their retreat left three powerful players with high-volume minivans: Chrysler, Toyota and Honda.

The hell with minivans. I think it a smart move for GM and Ford to leave the minivan market. I think expanding into the crossover market is a better choice. The minivan has a bad stigma to it (soccer mom, renewing virginity, loss of balls, and other things that pop into my head when i focus my attention to a minivan).

Honestly Mr. T would pity the fool in a minivan. I would hate to see a Remake of the A-Team with a black Dodge Caravan with a red stripe and spoiler. The minivan is for soccer moms, and perverts that put "FREE CANDY" on the side of it.

I can't think of anything positive to say about minivans. Hell, I'm out of insults. Jinx covered the best of them.

Still a wannabe.

I always pictured full size vans as the ones with FREE CANDY on the side.

Bob Lutz: "There's no doubt that a design-driven philosophy is the only one that will work. People who are not sensitive to design, people who don't care about vehicles, people who view a vehicle as an appliance, they just default to Toyota. We will never win that one."

It was a gag done by the van driver's friends.
He needed a car, his father found that van for cheap, got it for him, his friends went to town on it.
