I just googled Chevy Colorado, took a look at the pictures they had on the Chevy website, and then compared it with the front end from the forum. Between the two I prefer the American version. Perhaps it is cheaper made but that was not what I was comparing.

I gotta agree, the Holden frontend looks nice, but I like the American version better.

I agree. The Silverado is the only truck I'd allow to be parked in my driveway.

Still a wannabe.

THAT looks like an Isuzu. The Colorado/Canyon front end is much better.

I think GM should get a clean sheet of paper and start over. I have never gotten used to the current Colorado design, and slapping a diffferent grille and h/l treatment on it won't help IMO.

Bob Lutz: "There's no doubt that a design-driven philosophy is the only one that will work. People who are not sensitive to design, people who don't care about vehicles, people who view a vehicle as an appliance, they just default to Toyota. We will never win that one."

Ditto. Dare I say it, it looks reminiscent of the worst Ford F-150 design they ever had, that slanted nose design.

I found $80 in my jeans pocket. The kid in me said "buy nerf guns and candy!" But then the adult in me said "buy vodka, nerf guns and candy!"
