Johnson Controls closing plant building Camaro parts

http://newsdurhamregion.com/article/110039

The plant contracted to assemble doors and make seats for the 2010 Camaro is now slated to close putting up to 400 people out of work.

GASP! Who will make those Camaro parts now?

Oh... not to worry...

Johnson Controls will be closing plant one in Whitby.
All work done in that plant will now be done next door in plant two.

Sad to hear about people losing their jobs.

My town has a few empty factories if any automotive parts manufacturer needs a place to relocate to.

hmm.. thats bad news.. 400 workers ..

..but don't worry about the camaro.. anyone in the auto industry that has dealt with johnson controls would know they are a very large and cunning company - they wont be shutting down anytime soon.

Johnson Controls is HUGE! The automotive industry is only a portion of their business. They practically have a monopoly with building automation.
