Sierra XFE!?

According to the spammail I now get from Sam Swope, it is true:,bc6C7B34
As expected from GMC, the increased efficiency does not come at the expense of capability. The Sierra XFE has a 5.3-liter Flex Fuel V8 engine with 315 hp and 338 lb/ft of torque. The engine has a lighter aluminum cylinder block and heads and is backed by a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed transmission.

It achieves 15 city and 21 highway mileage ratings versus the non-XFE models, which receive ratings of 14 city and 20 highway. The tow rating on the Sierra XFE increased from 6,600 to 7,000 pounds, thanks to the new transmission and high-capacity cooling package. The Sierra XFE is available in 2WD only with the SLE trim and crew-cab body style.
Woot, 6spd auto!

I wish they would stop giving all the cool stuff to crew-cab only models.
Extended cab and regular cab are lighter, and should get better mpg anyway.

EDIT: Yah, a whopping 1mpg increase over normal.
