Do you feel pressure to buy American?

If you're the owner of a Japanese or European vehicle thinking of trading it in for a Ford, GM, or Chrysler vehicle, we'd like to hear your reasons. Does the crisis facing U.S. automakers influence your buying decision? Are you feeling pressure from friends or family to buy American next time?

No pressure here. I own a 2000 GMC YukonXL and a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT. I intend on buying my Camaro next year regardless of any 'influences' whether good or bad.

Aye, it was a "bad time" (horrible financing, etc.) to buy my G5, but I did it anyway.

I really don't like the looks of the Japanese cars. If Toyota was building the Camaro and Chevy was building the scion, I would be driving a Toyota. I like to support American manufacturing whenever I can, but as many here have pointed out, even alot of chevy's aren't built in America anymore, including the Camaro.
